Meet the Principal

Ms. Katie Cartier, Principal of The Creighton Academy!

Katie previously served as Assistant Principal at Kennedy School. She began her teaching career in 2002 as a Middle School teacher at the original Creighton School. Katie also taught at Excelencia School where she received multiple Governing Board awards for “Innovation”. She left us for one year, to teach in Durango, Co. In 2012, Ms. Cartier became a teacher on assignment at Loma Linda School where she served as both Title I Facilitator and Instructional Coach. She was a core member of the Leadership Team that supported the school in obtaining A+ status. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics, and a Master’s of Education degree in Educational Leadership.
